Bahamian Independence Day Junior Regatta
Think the junior sailors have been left out? Come join us over at Cracker P's for an Opti competition! There will be three races to determine this year's Rosco Thompson Memorial Regatta Champion, held right in the beautiful sea between Lubber's Quarter and the south end of Elbow Cay. And for all you "seniors" (anyone over 15) there will be a fun opti race afterwords. So, can you still fit in an Optimist dingy?
The event is being organized by the Abaco Junior Sailing Association, and will feature kids from Hope Town, Man-O-War and Guana Cay. Optimists from all over the Bahamas are invited, and we would love to see some foreign competition as well.
